The repairs will take place when the weather breaks, I'm guessing mid March or so. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks.Īs this is still in the planning stage any and all input is greatly appreciated. And anything that is black(now mostly faded to chalky grey) gets coated in black. The plan is everything that is green stays green. The upol Raptor website has a guide that claims a full cover takes 10-12 liters. I'm also unsure as to the amount that I'll need, some sources say that 2 kits(8 liters) is enough. If no one has had any luck matching those, then I might go with an emerald green as a third choice which is readily available. Jeep also has a Rescue green that started in 2007 that I also like quite a bit. Neither of those appeal to me as much as the original color. The pictures and videos that show up in searches for that color seem to either show a light pastel type green or an eye gouging bright electric green like Kawasaki green (no offense intended)end product. Has anyone here tried to match this color in Raptor liner? I don't expect to get the same pearlescent finish as flat paint but I would like the actual color to be as close as possible. I would like to get as close a match to the original color as possible. The Jeep color name is 'Electric Lime Green' and the paint code is PLG for 'pearlescent lime green'. Going to paint my 2005 TJ in tintable Raptor liner.
